How I Help You With Your Motorcycle Vision Quest.

In the years since completing my year-long motorcycle vision quest in 2011,

I have come to realize just how much more I could have extracted from that precious time

had I had someone who really knew me and recognized the importance of my adventure.  I wish I had known then how the ancient format of a vision quest maximizes transformation.

I understand how big of a deal your motorcycle trip is and will help you on your journey.

A vision quest consists of 6 stages:

0. Hearing and Answering the Call

1. Preparation

2. Severance

3. Wilderness

4. Homecoming

5. Incorporation

As a life-loving adventure rider, experienced vision quester, and Colorado Registered Psychotherapist, I offer a special blend of skills designed to help you get the most out of each of these stages.

A vision quest is a deeply personal event during which solo time is critical.  As such, I am not physically with you during your ride into wilderness.  However, from initial explorations through ongoing integration, I am here to help you scale up your motorcycle adventure to a lasting, full-throttle life upgrade.

Your quest has never happened since the beginning of time.  Because it is one of a kind, our approach to it will be also.  Through each stage, you and I co-create a personalized, unique quest.  You will be offered guided self-inquiries, activities with your motorcycle and the land, personalized departure and homecoming rituals, trip planning ideas, solo time design, support through your trip, support  after you return and integrate your discoveries, and truly open space to talk with someone who gets you!  When you return with your stories and treasures, I will be here to welcome you.  I will continue to be available as you work to share your insights and gifts with the world.

Face to face sessions are conducted in the Boulder, Colorado area, in both office and local, wild spaces.  For overnight camping sessions, I have amazing sites in the mountains within 1 hr of Boulder.

I utilize video conferencing when face to face sessions are not feasible.

Pricing:

Unlike a fast food restaurant, a vision quest is a long term process requiring serious commitment.  I suggest a minimum of 10 sessions for support through all 6 stages of your motorcycle vision quest.  Each session is 60-75 minutes long, costs $150*, and includes detailed assignments designed to deepen your experience between sessions.  However, if you need just one session of support at whatever stage you are in, I am here for you. I also provide longer sessions as needed.

In addition to regular sessions, I highly recommend a letting go and return ritual.  Each is $400 and includes overnight camping in the Rocky Mountains, a customized fire ceremony, 2 nourishing meals, and more.  The moments just before and after crossing the threshold of your quest deserve great honor and respect.  The departure and return moments are best spent with those who recognize the meaningfulness of your quest.  These moments can be powerful.
